This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I'm heavily influenced by psychology. Perhaps I'm a bit sadistic, but I love making things that are incredibly stressful on the eyes to look at.
Bronze Sculpture Commission!
Sat Sep 5, 2009, 11:24 PM
Did i mention i am working on a bronze sculpture commission? Yes I'm nervous, never done a large bronze monument before, but I know I have the skill to do it! D<! I'm working on the first step- collecting information on material costs, and figuring out how to actually pull the process off:
1) Construct armature and clay sculpture 2) Cast the clay sculpture 3) From the mold, make a wax replica (no undercuts! tricky!) 4) Ship the wax replica to a bronze foundry where they cast the sculpture in bronze 5) Smooth out the weld marks (it will be cast in multiple pieces) and apply a patina (its going to rust anyway, so make it rust all PRETTY!)
What I find particularly interesting is your creativity with thinking of the "gender" of the chemicals in your glazes when making each one of them, incredibly fascinating. It opens up a whole new world of meaning that could be possible in art...
I don't have a studio to work in, that's the problem . I need a printing press and a well ventilated room with some industrial grade acids. Fortunately its only a matter of getting into a junior college art class to access these things. Hopefully soon i'll be back in the mix.

Awwh, is it the price of the materials or time constraint stopping you from producing?

Thanks so much for the watch.
It means a lot, really.
